About us
I have always been attracted to rich colors and interesting textures. Sewing has helped me to put those two things together in a practical and aesthetically interesting way. I enjoy making objects that serve a practical purpose in everyday life and bring a sense of joy to their owner. The fabric I select for my work evokes the fauna, flora, and experience of living in the PNW. When you encounter my handcrafted items, I hope you gasp just a little and utter expressions of delight and joy. Further, when using my creations, I hope you find the form and function equal to the fun design.
Along with my passion for sewing, I am trained as a social worker and for the past 20 years have been working in higher education supporting college students. I am committed to the life changing power of education. I live in the PNW where I have spent many years recreating in the amazing landscape of mountains, rainforests, beaches, and river ways. I also enjoy towing my Scamp travel trailer to far and wide destinations during the summers with my dog Nimbus. My hubby joins us on our adventures as often as he can!
